On his way back from this past Envision Festival, David Sugalski, a.k.a. The Polish Ambassador, was chatting with some of his friends who had also just performed at the Costa Rican shindig. One by one, they all mentioned their favorite set of the festival was from this guy saQi. Sugalski gave him a call upon his return, and six months later, we’ve got ourselves the latest release from TPA’s Jumpsuit Records, saQi’s Quest’s End. 

The inventive, engaging, and addicting blend of percussion, samples, and quasi-Balkan melodies is a real treat. And Luke Solman’s trumpet work is an added bonus. The icing on the cake, if you will.
